Earthdata is the flagship site for the Earth Science Data Systems Program at NASA.
Earthdata Forum is where subject matter experts from several NASA Distributed Active Archive Centers (DAACs) can discuss general questions, research needs and data applications. Users can query how to access, view, and interpret the data.

NASA’s Land, Atmosphere Near-real-time Capability for EOS (LANCE) provides select data products (including VIIRS and MODIS) within three hours of satellite observation.
This site provides a subset of LANCE products for MODIS and VIIRS observations.
NASA’s Fire Information for Resource Management System (FIRMS) is a platform for viewing and downloading active fire data within 3 hours of satellite observation from NASA's Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) aboard the Terra and Aqua satellites and NASA's Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) aboard the joint NASA/NOAA Suomi National Polar orbiting Partnership (Suomi NPP) and NOAA-20 satellites.
This platform is a joint effort between NASA and the US Forest Service where users can interactively browse a tailored US and Canada archive of active fire detections within 3 hours of observation. Each data point includes the location, extent, and intensity of wildfire activity.
