LAADS Web Service Classic Known Issues
Deprecation Notice: LAADS Web Service Classic is deprecated and will be retired on August 31, 2026. LAADS Classic API will be replaced by our more modern LAADS API Version 2 (API-V2), which has been designed as a JSON / REST-based API. We encourage all users to transition their automated workflows, scripts, and clients to API-V2 to ensure continued, uninterrupted access to LAADS data products. Please consult the API-V2 documentation for details on endpoints, query parameters, and how to format your new JSON/REST requests.
- For coverages with multiple bands, only a single band can be included in a request, i.e. the axis subset parameter must be of the form N/N/1
- Currently we can only support requests that take less than 1 minute to process. If you are hitting the 1 minute timeout (you get HTTP status 504), try to reduce the size of your bounding box or the number of days in your date range.
