MOD02OBC - Level 1B Onboard Calibrator/Engineering Data
The MODIS Level 1B MODIS On-board calibration (OBC) product (MOD02OBC) is a subset of the MODIS Level-1A product (MOD01) containing the formatted and packaged raw instrument data used for assessing the instrument performance and updating the calibration. This product contains MODIS digitized raw detector counts data for all 36 MODIS spectral bands for the calibration sector data (Blackbody, Solar Diffuser, Spectroradiometric Calibration Assembly) and Space View. The MODIS engineering telemetry data is also included. Quality indicators are added to the data to indicate missing pixels and instrument modes.
