NASA's Level-1 and Atmosphere Archive & Distribution System (LAADS) Distributed Active Archive Center (DAAC) announces the release of the Level-2 (L2) Dark Target Aerosol version 2.1, which improves upon its predecessor, version 2.0. The L2 Dark Target (DT) Aerosol products provide satellite-derived measurements of Aerosol Optical Thickness (AOT) and aerosol properties over land and ocean. It delivers spectral AOT measurements and their size parameters over oceans every 6 minutes globally.
