Description

NRT version 1.0.6 was deployed to production Wednesday 01 March 2023. This release fixes the following two issues reported in version 1.0.5:

  • Earthdata Login Download tokens do not work when downloading files
  • users are required to login to both CMR and NRT when trying to download files using links from CMR

For users using Earthdata tokens, be aware that using these tokens causes several HTTP redirects, which can cause slightly slower download times than using LAADS/NRT download tokens. Also, scripts should be configured to forward session cookies along with redirects. For example, cURL commands need to add -L -b session_file to the command in order to function correctly with Earthdata tokens.
